Let’s Get Some Inspiration! – The Fidi Foodie

Sometimes I get tired of meal prepping, and I need some inspiration for some more recipes and ideas. For that reason, I like to go out from time to time and treat myself to some good food. In NYC, there are so many different food places, and you get overwhelmed with the possibilities. It is tough to find out which sites are worth your money and give you a great experience. However, the internet also has an answer for this. I do blogs about meal prepping to share my experience with others; some write blogs about the best places to eat in New York City.

There are many blogs about food in NYC; however, the blog “The Fidi Foodi” by Ireland Schultz is a fantastic blog I can only recommend if you search for great food places, especially for brunch. Ireland is also a College Student, and she has lived in the city for already three years. She has tried out so many different brunch places in this time and therefore knows which sites are best to go to.

Ireland’s blog is all you need to become a brunch pro. She gives you an excellent overview of different places, tells you why you should go brunching, but also recommends other food blogs she found valuable. Her posts always include fantastic pictures that make you hungry immediately.

I have already gone to two of the places she recommended, and I can say it was terrific. I also got some inspiration for some new meals I can meal prep at home. So stay tuned because there is coming a meal prep brunch box soon. Make sure to check out “The Fidi Foodie” and treat yourself to a delicious brunch. Do not forget to let Ireland know what you think about her blog.

About The Author

You think healthy and delicious food has to be expensive? Let me convince you of the opposite! Hello! I am Johannes, and I am 21 years old. Originally, I am from Germany; however, for two and a half years, I have been studying in the U.S, one and a half of them in NYC now. Being a college student comes with a lot of advantages but also some disadvantages. Especially when studying in New York, money is often tight, and days are pretty long because you have to work beside the school to afford to live in the greatest city in the world. I do many sports; I play soccer since I can walk, go to the gym for six years now, and I just like being active; therefore, it was always a hustle to get tasty and healthy food for a reasonable price. Some of you may have heard the saying “necessity is the mother of invention”, and I would not say I invented meal prepping, but I would say I came up with a lot of great meals that are delicious, healthy, and save you a lot of money in the end, because you do not have to buy expensive food during lunch break. So, over the next weeks, I will present to you some excellent meals that are easy to make, tasty, and save you some dollars. Some of them you might already know, some may be new to you, in the end, I promise you will learn some new dishes you can add to your repertoire. And even if you don’t meal prep, you should still try out some of these recipes because they also serve as a great nutritious lunch or dinner at home.
