Three Recipes From Three Different People

I think it is time to bring in some more opinions and also some more diverse experiences. So far, you just have heard recipes that I thought were great for meal prep and match the criteria to be delicious, healthy, and also cheap. However, everybody is different and has different tastes and experiences. Therefore, you will get to know three other people who have great expertise in meal prepping and who will present their favorite meal prep dish over the next weeks.

  1. Anna Braetz
Anna, as you may recognize at the last name, is my sister. She is a vegan for two years now and has done meal prepping for around three years. She is a very passionate cook, and she loves to try out new things. As a brother, I could experience her skills over some years now, and I really have to say that her food is delicious. She is all about using fresh ingredients, and she can make out of a few ingredients a delicious, healthy meal.
  2. Edvin Loefgren
Edvin is my roommate, and I would call him a hardcore meal prepper and food enthusiast. While I often meal prep for 1 or 2 days, Edvin meal preps for five days. Furthermore, there is rarely a day where Edvin does not have a box of food in the fridge ready to be grabbed. If this is not reason enough to let him write a blog post, I should mention one more thing; Edvin loves food. Therefore, he cares about cooking a good meal and also appreciates good food.
  3. Michel Wenzel
Michel is also my roommate, and he is also a food lover. He is a connoisseur in the Mediterrane cuisine, and he does an excellent job in meal prepping those meals. One day, I had to grab one of his boxes, and I am telling you it was delicious. Michel told me that he would show you how he made the same meal prep box I grabbed one day.

So, be ready to get to know a vegan expert, a hardcore meal prepper and food enthusiast, and a connoisseur in the Mediterrane cuisine.

MEAL PREP ON A BUDGET

You think healthy and delicious food has to be expensive? Let me convince you of the opposite! Hello! I am Johannes, and I am 21 years old. Originally, I am from Germany; however, for two and a half years, I have been studying in the U.S, one and a half of them in NYC now. Being a college student comes with a lot of advantages but also some disadvantages. Especially when studying in New York, money is often tight, and days are pretty long because you have to work beside the school to afford to live in the greatest city in the world. I do many sports; I play soccer since I can walk, go to the gym for six years now, and I just like being active; therefore, it was always a hustle to get tasty and healthy food for a reasonable price. Some of you may have heard the saying “necessity is the mother of invention”, and I would not say I invented meal prepping, but I would say I came up with a lot of great meals that are delicious, healthy, and save you a lot of money in the end, because you do not have to buy expensive food during lunch break. So, over the next weeks, I will present to you some excellent meals that are easy to make, tasty, and save you some dollars. Some of them you might already know, some may be new to you, in the end, I promise you will learn some new dishes you can add to your repertoire. And even if you don’t meal prep, you should still try out some of these recipes because they also serve as a great nutritious lunch or dinner at home.
